An avid "Twilight Zone" fan since youth, I was delighted to participate in the first new collection of original TZ tales, edited by Carol Serling. While the story is fictional, the setting is not.

Prior to writing, I led a small group through the bowels of a North Georgia cave. Several hours in, we rescued three teens unable to locate the passage back; searching half the night, two near exhaustion, a single light between them nearly spent. Darkness remains man's universal primal fear.
