Having just spent a really interesting 2 1/2 hours with one of my senior managers talking about workforce planning we got to the end and he said..."I can't believe how simple it can be!". HR and OD practitioners sometimes get a hard time, the organisation can sometimes see the role as a policing, complicator role undertaken by folk who exhibit too much expert power.
