You're Invited to Publish on LinkedIn

First Post!

Well not quite. It took me a few times logging in and swatting away the “You’re invited to publish” message thinking that it was just pointing to the standard update message box.

Today I became curious as to how to make this dialog go away and came to the realization there was a little pen inside the usual comment area. Welcome to long form posting.

I’ll do my part in getting out the word that LinkedIn is beginning to roll out posting capabilities to everyone. This will bulk up Pulse with (selected) articles from the community and give members a chance to boost their profiles and build some cred.
