How to research #patientsincluded @BMJ

It takes some courage for a medical journal to have patients review articles written by researchers, doctors and nurses. And yet that is exactly what the British Medical Journal is setting up at present as part of their new patient partnership strategy.
The aim is two-fold: to ensure that the content of the journal reflects the latest thinking on patient partnership and shared decision making; and to ensure that the BMJ itself involves patients wherever possible and appropriate in its decision making about content and strategy. They really want to reflect what partnership with patient’s, families and carers looks like from the patient’s perspective. By publishing new thinking on research priorities and the changes needed in policy, practice, medical education and the design and delivery of services to realize partnership.
Monday January 20th the first meeting of the will take place at BMJ House London. Looking forward to it.
YOU can help!
One of their first priorities is to set up a database of patients and patient advocates who will be willing to review and comment on BMJ papers, and write viewpoints. You can read more about that on their website including submitting yourself as patient-reviewer.
At Radboud University Medical Center we took it from research perspective with MedCrowdFund? that in the end of 2014 will migrate from Beta into functional in this first quarter of 2015.
I praise the editorial team at BMJ for picking up the glove to make research more #patientsincluded.
What is your take on this ?

10 年I have taken a reading and conference course for my Master's degree in education where I did read and review educational research. However Life Extension Foundation already does what you are saying for health products and that is what I am taking for my health...it is all preventative. And quite frankly I am the healthiest I have ever been.
