Part 7! We′re on the move, we′re flying. There is no time to waste. We have work to do. Let′s move on with part 7 of our series “Rethink for Success.“ A series which is based on an insightful and exciting business book which I have found, read and reviewed especially for you.
For the time being we will not reveal however the book′s title. It′s not to annoy you. It′s to focus on its words and messages. Without being distracted by its title and the names of its authors. Vamonos companeros! Some more thought-provoking ideas today!
IN MY LAST ARTICLE I PRESENTED THE FOLLOWING IDEAS & ADVICES
Draw a line in the sand: Great businesses have a point of view, not just a product or service. You have to believe in something. Stripped Down Advice: When you stand for something, decisions are obvious. That what a successful brand needs!
Start a business, not a start-up: The truth is that every business is governed by the same rules: revenue in, expenses out. Stripped Down Advise: Don′t “dream“ about a start-up, instead start an actual business!
TIME TO MOVE ON WITH TODAY’S THOUGHTS & TIPS
Less is more (1)
Huge organizations can take years to pivot. They talk instead of act. They meet instead they do. Embrace the idea of having less mass. The more massive an object, the more energy required to change its direction. It′s as true in the business world as it is in the physical world. Keep your mass low and you can quickly move and change anything.
Less is more (2)
“I don′t have enough time/money/people/experience.“ Stop whining! Less is a good thing. Constraints are advantages in disguise. Limited resources force you going to the max. To think, to constantly improve, to optimize, to innovate and to be creative. So before you sing the “not enough“ blues, see how far you can get with what you have.
What do you think?

11 年It is very easy to change the whole universe but it is very difficult to change one’s inner self. The wisest step will be to struggle for that, i.e. to be fairer and just especially in current economic conditions which is the direct result of greed.

12 年I love "Less is more" because I have a lot of ideas for products and services that could use updating but I am not sure how to get in the door of the companies to discuss them.Any suggestions?
