Help Schools Impacted by Hurricane Sandy
This week, thousands of people in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. I’m relieved to report that our entire team is safe. At least one colleague’s home was flooded, and many of us are without power and water.
We know we are fortunate compared to so many people. I feel very lucky that my son will return to a school that has not been damaged on Monday. It will take weeks, even months, for many communities to rebuild, and we’re committed to helping with this effort.
We’ve gathered project requests at schools hardest hit by the hurricane. We expect many more to be posted, as schools assess the damage they incurred. I hope you’ll take a look at the requests, and consider supporting one classroom. Your donation will show teachers and students that you are thinking of them in this difficult time.

My nephew is one of those students displaced by 'Sandy'. He's in one of the City's Performing Arts Schools in a battered section of Brooklyn. We up here in afflicted but powered New England were looking for a legit cause for our donation, & now we've found it.
