Wokaholism Is Not A Virtue
Some thoughts of our Re-Think series (based on a great book) for a beautiful Tuesday:
Workaholism is not a Virtue
Our culture celebrates the idea of the workaholic. It′s considered a badge of honour to kill yourself over a project. Not only is workaholism unnecessary, it′s stupid. Workaholics, often not slept enough and being easily aggressive, create more problems than they solve. Workaholics aren′t heroes. They don′t save the day, they just use it up. The real heroe is already home because she figured out a faster way to get things done.
Enough with Entrepreneurs
Let′s retire the term “entrepreneur.“ It′s outdated and loaded with baggage. It smells like members-only club. Instead everyone should be encouraged starting his own business. Let′s replace this fancy-sounding word with something abit more down to earth: Let′s call them starters. Anyone who creates a new business is a starter.
What do you think?
