Last week, I saw an article on Forbes about the most outlandish resume mistakes of 2012 - complete with pictures. Not good for those job seekers. However, what I did find interesting in the article was the examples of people who used "calculated creativity" in the way they designed and delivered their resumes to employers - several of whom got hired as a result.
In my experience, calculated creativity can be a highly effective tool when conducting a disruptive job search. Especially, when jobs are scarce and competition is high.
