20,000,000 views in 2 months...

2 months and 40,000 followers later, half the people that hit follow have no idea who I am, outside of a Linkedin GIF king that makes fun of the recruiting life.

So here it is.??????????????

In 2021, After Spending 6 years as a recruiter I decided to chase my passion, "getting attention."

I shifted my focus to content marketing/coaching and partnered with Hoxo Media a global recruitment marketing agency that's based in the UK.

Huge shout out to Sean Anderson and Amar Chohan and the academy team for one of the best experiences I could have had. I learned firsthand from two entrepreneurs what it takes to run a successful marketing agency.

Our goal was to build a strong US presence and Global coaching agency guiding recruiters on how to brand themselves and become recognizable on Linkedin.

It was an amazing experience meeting so many global recruitment leaders and teams and learning about their businesses as well as coaching them on how to become content machines.

The other part of my life that changed was having a second child. I found out my wife and I were pregnant at the same time I partnered with the Hoxo team.

9 months later, in September, my son Finn was born.

I then made the decision that I needed to jump back into something that was US-based and given the recruitment market, I was excited to begin a new journey back into recruitment.

I was given 4 weeks in between leaving Hoxo and starting at Hirewell and that gave me 4 weeks with my family as we welcomed Finn into our lives.

Having our second child has meant a lot less time for Linkedin so being able to post one GIF and generate 500,000 to 2 million views in under 5 minutes work blows my mind

In the past 2 months, I’ve generated 20,000,000 million views on my content and added 40k more followers, this brings me to 90k followers!!!

BUT.....

I don’t want to be JUST known as the Linkedin GIF guy, although it's pretty dope...

That's why a newsletter is perfect for a less frequent strategy that I can keep up with.

I spent most of 2021 preaching about the importance of keeping up a personal brand online, and one of the people I thought about that had done a great job with content was James Hornick “3rd most sarcastic commenter in the game” - which led me to Matt Massucci and the Hirewell team and within a month, I was a Hirewell employee.

I’m working on the HR team that focuses on HR/TA and Administration positions at all levels.

To keep it simple - I am recruiting recruiters.

Being back in recruiting is wild, but entertaining the people I’m trying to recruit is a dream come true.

It’s already been awesome connecting with so many talented recruiters and helping them secure exciting positions at top start-ups.?Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a big talker and love to network, so doing that within recruiting is a ton of fun.?

Another new development is people asking me to do sponsored posts and speaking events.

A once a month deep dive into recruiter life, although not that deep because let’s face it there is way too much content out there.?
