2000 miles for a good cause
As you know I've been hiking the full 2188 miles of the Appalachian trail taking time to reflect and set up for whats next. Its been beyond remarkable in too many ways to explain. One thing I have accomplished is meeting incredible people. One in particular is a young man right out of college named Noah Stanley. He decided to raise money for a charity while he hiked. He is an incredible young man. His charity is called the Pee Dee Coalition.
They offer temporary and semi-permanent housing to people escaping domestic and sexual abuse. They provide skills training, transportation and counseling to help rehabilitate these victims. They have raised over $18,000 and want to achieve $25,000 when he summits Mount Katahin in Maine and finishes his journey. He is only 160 miles from the end. A huge accomplishment in its own right.
I learned so much from this young man along the way I wanted to try to help him beat his goal. If anyone would like to help this good cause with a donation you can pledge by contacting his sister Hanna at
or message them from

I would typically not send this on Linked in but I know many of my good friends through here and have limited means while hiking to get a message out quickly. If this is a meaningful cause for you and you would be so generous please consider any small donation to help.
Many thanks to all .... more leadership insights from my hike coming soon stay tuned!
