200 More Days
The election is 200 days away and a LOT could change between now and then (the Washington Nationals could have a season like 2019, for example). But the current mood of the electorate can best be described as sour.
Two polls released this week bear that out.
The AP-NORC poll showed that right track/wrong track numbers continue to be firmly upside down: 24-76.
Similarly, in the CBS poll released Sunday, only seven percent of respondents said "things in America today" are going "very well," while five times as many said they're going "very badly."
Sentiment toward the economy was at 10 percent "very good," but 30 percent "very bad."
