20 yrs ago where it all began!
......This was my education, not college, not university, REALITY!
You "eat what you kill" I was told.
You are a "business within the business" they said.
"Unlimited income" they preached.
Many of the life lesson learned through my career came hard and fast!
Not all of them were enjoyable, however ALL of them moulded me into who I am today!
I showed up for the opportunity, for the paycheck, little did I know that those two things were the least valuable things I captured during my career.
You see, this industry produces some of the best and most talented salespeople to have ever walked the earth!
Yet, like many other sales positions it can chew up and spit out the "pretenders", the one who were never committed to begin with.
Those individuals are the ones who helped perpetuate the negative stereotypes I had to battle on a daily basis. They created the "noise" that I had to cut through in the name of staying focused to accomplish my goals as I grew and developed.
To the world I apologize on behalf of those individuals. I ask for you to extend grace to our industry on behalf of them as I am sure they had the best of intentions when they started.
The journey may be simple, however it is not easy.
The reward when you remain committed and stay the course....?
You will make an incredible income.
You will create long lasting relationships with your clients.
( I am friends with many people I sold in the year of this picture)
You will realize that your excuses in life are just that, excuses.
You will develop an ability to face challenges with an unparalleled confidence.
TODAY, I am a bi-product of this process and am blessed to travel the globe teaching other aspiring individuals how to accomplish the same!
Ladies & Gentlemen,
Sight will FOREVER be the GREATEST enemy of VISION!
I had no idea where I was headed in this picture, I just thought I looked cool in that car I was in no danger of being able to afford -lol
Today I say, lets pick a colour for the weekday rider and one for the weekend rider ;)
It's never about the money, instead, it should always be about the skill set!!!
"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he will eat the rest of his life"
I will eat for the rest of my life and I want to encourage ALL of you in this AMAZING industry to know that you are more than capable to do the same!
