For many of us as business leaders its been a really fascinating journey over the last 20 years - there have been so many changes and learnings. And when this certificate popped through the post it reminded me of how much change has also taken place in the HR profession over that time. When I first got qualified I am not sure I expected to be speaking at the CIPD conference which happened in November last year! It has also been great recently to be working with the CIPD to think about what the future of our profession is and also how work might change with the new and emerging technologies. Peter Cheese Stephen Pobjoy Rebecca King

It also reminded me of my MBA at Cranfield - this CIPD qualification was actually gained as part of that course which means that it has been 20 years since I had the experience of meeting a wonderful group of people. It was not just the course that was super helpful for my development but more than that it was the people who attended with me who played a big role in making me the business leader that I am today! So thank you to, amongst others...... Richard Preece Kevin MacLeod Cheryl Bishop Susan Donaldson John Glen Wendy H. Conway Daw I can't name you all!

I look forward to the next XX years and continuing to learn from others, exercise curiosity and be open to what changes lie ahead.

Congratulations Claire! Without doubt it is going to get even more fascinating and the ability to be curious and to keep learning is going to be the most important skill / quality.

You may not have expected to be leading in your profession and in your business but the rest of us at Cranfield certainly expected it. We never knew the destinations or the routes but those of us together all knew we had a similar kind of journey ahead that was made easier by inspiring fellow students. I promised the two young men here I’d never share this photo but it’s the younger one’s birthday and it seems timely so what the heck. (And I definitely didn’t expect this stop on my journey) Thanks for continuing to inspire us.
