20 Properties by 37! How my wife and I built a property portfolio & the steps you can take to get started.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my years of being a business owner, it’s that you need to surround yourself with people you trust, people who will see things through AND will challenge you to give it your all.  

I’ve been lucky enough to meet someone who does this alongside me in the business realm as well as in my personal life. 

This instrumental individual is my wife Billie. Just when I thought I couldn’t be any more of a driven individual, I met a life partner who gives me a run for my money. 

Billie has always been a conscientious financier and began investing her earnings and birthday money into shares. By the time she was 16 she finally moved that investment into the commercial property market and saw incredible returns when she reached the age of 22.

Her investment had tripled in value.

2. Be sure you’re on top of your cashflow to make sure it’s stable.
3. Set up a budgeting system to ensure you know exactly where each dollar is going. This will allow you to cut back on frivolous spending and keep you on top of your money. 
4. Stay on top of your finances and be sure to check for better products or rates that you can switch to and get you better returns that will consolidate your debts.
