20 more weeks until…

Hello friend,
I was messaging an old friend and saw that our previous message was from 20 weeks ago.
She was congratulating me on being on the home stretch of my pregnancy.
I remember feeling miserable… like this pregnancy would never end.
I also remember having trouble envisioning what baby Ellie would look like.
I was struggling to understand how I’d balance work and life with baby.
I was uncomfortably large and my balance was way off and my pelvic pain was almost unbearable… all with no signs of her wanting to come out. (She was born 8 days past her due date).
That feels like FOREVER ago right about now.
A lot can change in 20 weeks.
Now, I feel amazing now because I mostly have my body back (honestly, didn’t love being pregnant at all).
Baby Ellie is 3 months old, laughing, cooing, and showing her little personality.
I’m doing what I can to figure out work and life with a baby. I’m learning to work with less sleep than I’d typically get. I’m living for those baby snuggles.
I’m boundaried allll the way up. My work hours are set. And I’m saying “no” more than “yes” in this season of my life.
I had my highest revenue month EVER in June. Hello 90K+ month.
All that in 20 weeks.
And that’s just about the amount of time we have left in 2022.
20 weeks.
I imagine my life will look different in another 20 weeks. By then, Ellie will crawling and trying to tear down the Christmas tree.
I will know for sure if I met my goal of generating $1 million dollars in revenue this year.
My team will all be DEI Certified.
I will have gone to my first post-panny event – She Podcasts Live.
