Oh la la!!! Todays site visit is the rebranded Amba Hotel Grosvenor London (formally the Grosvenor Victoria) – an absolutely divine refurbishment by the GLH Group.

All 345 bedrooms (many that can twin) have been refurbished with sumptuous Hypnos? beds, USB ports and Smart TVs streaming capability. The higher grade rooms also have contactless phone chargers built into the bedside tables. Plus blackout curtains for a good nights sleep, complimentary mini-bar (soft drinks depending on category) and mist free mirrors!

The hotel have removed the mini toiletries and replaced with fixed full size bottles. I think we can all agree single use plastic should be reduced.

There are 8 meeting rooms – to be fully completed by the end of April 2020, the largest room is the Orient that can host 100 theatre style. Also good news, four of the boardrooms have the exec chairs making a weeklong global meeting comfortable. For larger numbers it’s possible to exclusively hire the Soak Restaurant for up to 268 guests (standing reception).

What is great about this hotel is that they have cleverly modernized with contemporary design and technology but in keeping with the original features and period character. It’s located directly off Victoria Station concourse, with a private entrance and this hotel especially welcomes meeting and event group bookings.
