Where the Impossible Becomes Possible

After 30 hours travelling, 3 flights, I reached Florida - Palm Beach to spend 54 hours with the man himself TONY ROBBINS. Unleash the power withinSeminar was a lifetime experience. A crowd of 9000 people learning, dancing, crying, laughing with the amazing energy of the motivational giant who spends 14 hours on stage daily with no breaks taking us through our deepest fears, making us face our most limiting beliefs, creating breakthroughs and unleashing our inner potential to master the life we want.

We started the event by WALKING ON FIRE a metaphorical experience for being unstoppable and an affirmation that whatever we set our mind to we can achieve.

There are 20 amazing lessons I’ve learned from Tony. They can be implemented by anyone today to profoundly increase their quality of life.

1 - Trade Expectation for Appreciation

Expectation is looking forward to what we hope to gain in the future… it has no room for the present moment. Appreciation is strictly about the here and now. We appreciate what we have, and what is around us… a far more productive place to be. Be Grateful and from this place of gratitude move forward - When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.

2 - Priming

To close the gap and get from where you are to where you want to be, it takes alignment within yourself — and the power to unlock and unleash. Developing a daily practice that primes you for opportunity, impact, and success can mean the difference between living the life of your dreams and settling for what you tolerate. And it all starts with your physical state. Priming is a powerful ritual that involves powerful and directed breathing and movement to center yourself so that you’re primed for whatever the day brings. Listen to the priming audio here:

3 - Proximity is Power

Whether it's your business, health, finances, or relationships – surrounding yourself with people who are already successful in that area allows you to model what is proven to work. Remember: Who you spend time with is who you become.

4 - Pain and Pleasure

The secret of success is learning how to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you. If you do that, you’re in control of your life. If you don’t, life controls you.

5 - High Standards

Set your standards high and demand more from yourself than anyone else could ever expect. If you don’t set a baseline standard for what you’ll accept in life, you’ll find it’s easy to slip into behaviors and attitudes or a quality of life that’s far below what you deserve.

6 - Have a Goal

You can’t hit a target if you don’t know what it is. If you talk about it, it’s a dream, if you envision it, it’s possible, but if you schedule it, it’s real. You can't have a plan for your day until you have a plan for your life. When you know the results you are after you’ll come up with greater actions to take to get you your results more effectively, efficiently, and rapidly.

7 - Change your story

The only thing that’s keeping you from getting what you want is the story you keep telling yourself. We all have stories for our lives. Most of the time, we tell them unconsciously to ourselves and to others. You might not be able to change the events and circumstances that happen in your life, but you can certainly choose the meaning for them. Do a reality check of what is going on in your mind and change your story to an empowering one.

8 - Massive Action

Instead of thinking of a lot of effort for a small period of time, think the opposite. Massive action is small and consistent efforts for a long period of time. Great success stories among business people and high performance athletes comes from consistency. Working on their craft daily for years resulted in excellent achievements... Action, Action, Action.

9 - Never Ending Commitment

I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life’s greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound, it is still the common denominator separating those who live their dreams from those who live in regret.” ~ Tony Robbins

10 - Fear

What stops us from moving forward is Fear. Fear can destroy our psychology and immobilize us from taking action. All of us experience fear in some context during our lives: Fear of rejection, Fear of Failure, Fear of the unknow....etc. Fear is hard wired into every human being nothing we do will take fear away forever. The secret is learning how to use fear, dance with it, instead of letting fear use you.

11- Decisions Create Destiny

“It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.” – Tony Robbins

It is not our circumstances that define our destiny, rather the decisions we make, because each decision we make leads us to a destination in our lives. There are three decisions we’re always making consciously or subconsciously: what am I going to focus on, what does it mean to me, and what am I going to do about it? Tony says that we can actively shape our destinies by answering these three questions. It’s not important initially to know how you’re going to create a result. What’s important is to decide you will find a way, no matter what.

12 - 2 mm Change

In Golf, the slightest adjustment in the swing can mean the difference between slicing and shanking the ball and driving it perfectly down the green. And it’s the same in life— because what it comes down to is the fact that the smallest changes can yield the biggest results. It can feel like you are a million miles away from where you want to be. But the truth is, you’re really only 2mm away. This is true even if you are performing above your standards, because there is always another level. And to break through, it comes down to the little things. Because it’s those tiny little habits that add up — a week from now, a month from now, a year from now — to make a profound difference.

13- Three Beliefs for Lasting Change

  • ·        It MUST Change NOW
  • ·        I must change it NOW
  • ·        I CAN Change it NOW

14 - Three Steps to Lasting Change

  • Leverage, if you can't, you must
  • Interrupt the pattern
  • Create an empowering alternative

15 - Be SMART

  • Strategy: Check it. Change it. Reengineer it. Reinforce it. Strengthen it.
  • Measure more often
  • Assess whether it's giving you the emotional reward you want.
  • Reinforce what works
  • Take Action

16 - Meanings

what controls our lives are the meaning we associate to the things in our lives, which are shaped by our own personal psychology and our world view ( the beliefs and values that we've created). ). The meaning we give to events in our life will either push us up or pull us down.

17- The Focus

Where your focus goes, your energy flows

Are you focusing on what is working or on what is not working? Are you focusing on your strengths or on your weaknesses? Are you focusing on what you have or on what is missing? Be conscious and direct your focus on positive things to change your emotional state that leads to better performance and greater achievements. What we focus on feels real to us in the moment, and whatever we pay more attention to in our lives grows.

18 - The Emotional Triad

We can master our emotional states with a specific recipe of how we use our body, focus, and language. By changing your body posture and movement, by changing your focus and the language you use you can directly influence your emotional state and master your habitual patterns.

19 - Ultimate Success Formula

  • ·        Know your outcome and be specific about it.
  • ·        Know your reasons WHY. This is the fuel you need to keep moving.
  • ·        Take MASSIVE action.
  • ·        Notice what you are getting. Create check points to verify your direction.
  • ·        Change your approach again and again.

20 - Life

Life Doesn’t Happen to You, It Happens for You

When you have the perspective that life happens for you, you can stop battling all the things that bother you. You can accept that although things might not always go as you plan, there is always something better in store. You can breathe. You can live easier, live simpler, knowing everything is happening for your good. you will feel free and uplifted knowing that although you might face challenges, their happening is part of a bigger plan. Accept things and decide what you can and can’t do about it. As you do, hold on to the idea that no matter what’s going on in your life, what lies within you is greater than any obstacle you might be facing. You will always be guided to where you should be. You just have to believe that life happens for you, not to you.
