2 WAYS OF LEARNING
God has endowed people with the extraordinary ability to learn. There are typically two approaches to learning. One comes from our personal experiences, and the other from those of others. These life lessons are learned by experience rather than being taught. People who learn from their own experiences are smart, and intelligent people also learn from the experiences of others. Human life is too brief to go through all the experiences of life if we must just learn from our own experiences. Thus, it is always advisable and better to get knowledge from the experiences of others.
Learning from others' experiences has a variety of benefits, not the least of which is the fact that it saves time, effort, money, and energy. Additionally, it shields you from negativity as you experience rejection, failure, and despair. The majority of people fall into the first type, learning only from their own mistakes and experiences, although it is always preferable to learn from others' mistakes and experiences as well. It doesn't imply that we shouldn't experiment on our own, but rather that we shouldn't reinvent the wheel when it has already been created.
Our efforts should be so well-targeted that the likelihood of failure should be extremely low. This is only possible when we improve the process by taking into account the lessons from both our own experiences and the experiences of others.
