My baby brother is waiting for the bus leaving the door open.
I left the door open last week and didn't lock it.
My middle brother told me to try not to do it again.
This time the door is locked.
Breakfast is ready while writing in the Dining Room.
And answering a LinkedIn DM.
It's sunny and it's 60 degrees in New York.
Going to talk about 2 tips from my co-workers.
------------------------------
These past two weeks were a challenge.
A co-worker returned from an injury last week.
She had a nasty cut near her eye from the cabinets.
The cabinets are gone.
She is going to a doctor to follow up and follow protocol.
I worked overnight.
Stayed for 5 hours extra this past Sunday morning so she wouldn't be by herself.
While the hotel is sold out of rooms.
Here are two tips from my co-workers:
Tip #1: "Sleep is essential."
This is from a co-worker Mom who told me this over the weekend.
Have you stayed up late?
It happened. I missed the timing of commenting on a post this morning.
Listen to your body. It won't lie to you.
Tip #2: "Advocate for yourself."
Heard this yesterday from a co-worker.
People will take advantage of you if you don't stick up for yourself.
Bonus Tip: "Be safe."
Last night were fire alarms blaring in the hotel.
People were afraid. Had phone calls and wrote down the time with the rooms.
My job was to reassure them things were okay.
Found out from a manager last night:
A person?was foolish to?pull the fire alarm.
While people were sleeping at the 11pm hour.
Thank goodness the guests are okay.
Stay safe online and in real life.
P.S. Do you?realize how your tips in life can help people?
Helping brands execute account-based outreach at scale.
