CTO of Siemens Healthineers. Curious and passionate future shaper. Pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.
Dear Innovators, I really appreciate learning more about your research and development activities. Keep up your creativity! From our side, I’d like to share some past projects that caught my attention, but, before you scroll down: Thank you for your interest and feedback! That is what encourages me to continue collecting and sharing updates about innovation, which is an inherent code in our DNA.
We nurture long-term partnerships with hospitals on all continents. This allows clinicians and engineers to better collaborate and create innovative, on-the-spot solutions that make patient care more efficient and effective. Our work together with Hospital do Espírito Santo de évora in Portugal is a great example of how technology helps expand access to high-quality healthcare services to previously hard to reach patient populations. Design thinking and the user experience must be at the core of any innovation that aims improving clinical routines. Researchers think from the endpoint: How will healthcare professionals and patients use our solutions? That is one of the strengths of my colleagues in our Technology Excellence team. And I am honored to share their achievements: Stefanie Gügel-Wild, Lead Industrial Designer, is featured on our #FutureShaper series. Read more
We gather annually with innovators from all over the world in Erlangen. At our Innovation Think Tank Annual Exhibition, we present projects that tackle healthcare challenges and that could become real-world solutions. Our next event will happen on July 28. If you’d like to participate, please get in touch with my colleagues: We’re considering applications until May 1. Be our guest and share your ideas with us! Read more
Interested in Mathematics + Algorithms + Graphs + Machine Learning + Deep Learning + Mathematical Finance
2 年Currently I am fascinated by graph algorithms and machine learning on graphs. Coming from mathematics, my current research revolves around theoretical topics. But I would also like to try some applied research connecting my math and computer science knowledge to real world applications. So, I was wondering if you have any research problem that can be tackled by graph theory and machine learning on graphs? I'll be happy to arrange some collaboration with your researchers.
