2 Samuel 22:30 - I Can Scale The Wall

I believe that there are certain Bible verses that every #CEO and #leader needs to know. The wisdom of the Bible is timeless, and it still works in our world today. Today, I want to share with you a few thoughts on 2 Samuel 22:30

King David writes in 2 Samuel 22:30 - “With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.”

This is one of my favorite Bible verses.

Any business leaders will face their fair share of walls. Walls may come in many forms—financial setbacks, fierce competition, unexpected challenges, or even personal doubts. But in 2 Samuel 22:30, you can find a powerful reminder that, with God’s help, you can overcome any obstacle in your path. This verse speaks to the unshakable confidence that Christian leaders can have, knowing that God strengthens them to face and conquer whatever walls stand before them.

David, the author of this verse, knew what it meant to face daunting obstacles. He fought giants, led armies, and was chased by enemies. Yet, through it all, he learned that with God’s help, he could achieve the impossible. The same promise is available to Well Done leaders when they rely on God’s strength rather than our own.

How To Scale Your Walls with God’s Help

1. Lean on God’s Strength, Not Your Own - In business, it’s easy to rely on your skills, intelligence, or experience. But God invites you to tap into His power, which far exceeds your own. This means daily prayer, asking for wisdom, and surrendering your plans to Him. When you make God your partner in business, you tap into a source of strength that enables you to tackle challenges you could never overcome alone.
2. Adopt a Mindset of Possibility - With God, all things are possible. Rather than seeing a wall as a limit, view it as a challenge that God has equipped you to overcome. This shift in mindset allows you to approach problems creatively and with hope. Ask yourself, “How might God use this situation for His glory and my growth?” This perspective not only keeps you moving forward but also strengthens your faith.
3. Develop Resilience and Determination - Scaling walls require persistence. God’s promise to help you doesn’t mean that challenges will disappear. Often, you need to stay the course, work through obstacles, and trust that God will provide the breakthrough in His perfect timing. Your willingness to persevere, even when you don’t see immediate results, speaks volumes about your trust in God’s power.
4. Build a Team Aligned with God’s Mission - No leader is meant to scale walls alone. God places people in your lives to support, encourage, and join you in your mission. By assembling a team that shares a commitment to Godly values and trusts in God’s guidance, you create a collective force capable of overcoming any obstacle. When God is at the center of your team’s mission, you strengthen your ability to face whatever challenges arise.
5. Celebrate God’s Victory Every wall scaled is a testament to God’s faithfulness. When you achieve breakthroughs, it’s essential to recognize and give glory to God. Celebrate with your team, acknowledging God’s hand in the success, and let those moments strengthen your faith for future challenges.
