2. PowerPoint is important, but it's not everything

PowerPoint as a medium is probably unfairly maligned. Used correctly it can help clarify and focus things hugely. And it creates a point of focus for everyone in the room during a meeting.
But if as a strategist all you are doing is communicating through the ‘medium of chart’ you are unlikely to go far, or gather many allies.
It is the face to face, often informal conversations that will help you develop and build your thinking.
Great conversations lead to great ideas.
