2 New Social Media ROI+ Tactics - Full credit to Gary Vee
If you are on LinkedIN you know who Gary Vee is, and if not, all his content is free on YouTube.
While I have to start by giving him full credit for these 2 tactics that are relatively new to social media due to recent changes, I did want to preface this by saying i have texted these for myself and clients and the results have blown me away. While Gary Vee is the one who has mentioned these within the last two weeks in his various speeches and interviews, I want to document them clearly from what I have seen in a non-Madison Avenue world.
#1 Instagram Promoted Stories - While this is new and there are many restrictions, including not being able to promote content with a link beyond your Instagram Home Page, the ROI has been staggering. If you are building and audience and have a solid amount of content, you can target people who you want to follow you and get in front of them. Instagram Stories are generally viewed my some of the most engaged users on the platform and can help you boost your over all organic engagement and discovery. On a $10 buy, I reach 6,000 targeted people.
#2 LinkedIN Organic Reach Content - On December 1, 2018, LinkedIN stopped allowing you to download the emails of your contacts. If you were disciplined and only connected to people of quality within your sphere, this was an excellent tool. However, organic reach has jumped for content on LinkenIN. I do want to preface this by saying, the content HAS to be Relevant, Informative, Timely and Entertaining, but there is no question you can reach a larger percentage of your audience on LinkedIN if you do.
