There are many things that are so obviously right in business such as:

  1. Bonuses improve performance
  2. Extraverts make better leaders and presenters

That it is disconcerting to find out that they are wrong. There are many other myths in business and being aware of an illusion can help you avoid running blindly into the hard edged and painful reality.
