- Google today?launched?AI Test Kitchen, an Android app that allows users to try out experimental AI-powered systems from the company’s labs before they make their way into production.?

- A new work by DeepMind presents the first formal causal definition of agents, which states, in essence, that agents are systems whose policies would change depending on the external environment.

- A new research paper published in eLight demonstrated a new paradigm to achieve privacy-preserving imaging by building a fundamentally new type of imager designed by AI.
- In their paper, UCLA researchers, led by?Professor Aydogan Ozcan, presented a smart camera design that images only certain types of desired objects, while instantaneously erasing other types of objects from its images without requiring any digital processing.
- A research team from Microsoft Research, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of California, San Diego, proposed TiCoder (Test-driven Interactive Coder) in their most recent publication, “Interactive Code Generation through Test-Driven User-Intent Formalization.”
- This process for test-driven user-intent formalization (TDUIF) uses user feedback to produce code that is 90.40 percent consistent with user intent from natural language inputs.
