June 30 is the last day of the fiscal year for MANY nonprofits.
Tomorrow, the "amount earned" goes back to zero. But before we get there, I just wanted to say the two LEAST common words fundraisers hear: Thank you.
Thank you for making the difference. Thank you for putting your necks and egos on the line every day and having uncomfortable conversations. Thank you for helping generous people know where to make the most meaningful difference with their giving. And thank you for making the miracle of nonprofit funding work for so many people and causes who need it.
Thank you.
Tomorrow might be discouraging. But today, look back and take a moment to celebrate all you've accomplished.
