Staying motivated during tough times while pursuing a goal often comes down to two key factors:

1?? The reason behind the goal is deeply meaningful and compelling.

2?? The journey toward the goal is engaging, motivating, and most of the times enjoyable.

At least one of these factors needs to be in place to keep you moving forward - ideally, both.

Take a moment to reflect on your current goals: Do they meet at least one of these criteria?
