If you’ve got a minute, I will give you two tips that will help you score points in the job interview.
1.????Have a killer first answer.?How you answer the first question sets the tone for the interview. If you nail it, it will build your confidence, and engage the interviewer.
“Tell us about yourself” is NOT about you summarizing your work chronology.?Sell your values, your passions, even the reason you want to work there.
“Tell us about yourself” or “why do you want to work here” are two of the most common first questions.?To deliver that home run answer, be prepared. This is part of doing your homework. “Tell us about yourself” is NOT about you summarizing your work chronology.?Sell your values, your passions, even the reason you want to work there. And guess what??In answering the “Why do you want to work here” question you can incorporate many of the elements from your first answer. Sell yourself.
2.????At the end of each interview, confidently reaffirm your interest in the company and the specific job. Talk about contributing to the team and the company.
