2 Days with Mr. Shingo: He doesn't like Lean!

1. Do not use the word "Lean" around Mr. Shingo "Lean body is no good, you want a healthy and strong organization, not a Lean one. TPS is about having a healthy business."
2. He loves cheeseburgers and coffee.
3. "Make the work easy" for all employees.
4. Get out of your office and go be with the people, processes, and products.
5. Practice what you preach. Don't have your employees do something you wouldn't do yourself.
