The 1st step of the "journey of a thousand miles"

While my journey with BridgeLabz started in the December of 2018 ( my god! its been 2 yrs already? !!) - it feels like we have truly embarked on a new adventure with another fellow traveller- one who wants all the same things that we want from the journey as well!

This post - although a long one - is my attempt at counting out blessings, being grateful for what we have and the same time wishing and hoping that we are able to accomplish so much more before we sleep!

Tech employability is a global concern. With over two million tech jobs being added each year, the industry falls short of skilled candidates to fill such positions. BridgeLabz was incepted in 2016 and so far we have groomed more than 2,000 engineers and contributed to their placement across leading IT companies. We use the “Maker concept” of experiential learning to groom fresh and experienced talent on any of the open-source technologies. Each talent is tailor made to a specific job mandate and hence the company gets a productive resource from day #1.

Because of our extensive experience and being the senior management in the IT space with proven business acumen, and 100% placement ratio, we are on our way to be a key game-changer within the industry. Our business model and 1:1 mentoring solution addresses the gap that exists between the stages of graduation to productive employment of engineers. Our vision to solve the unemployment challenge, especially among young engineer graduates from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, resonates with YSB’s core philosophy and this resonance has propagated a funding from Yunus Social Business.

It is always a delight when the investors, the organizational outlook, and all relevant philosophies are perfectly in line! We are now excited to have YSB on board as our investor. It's a great validation of our journey and endeavours to be Socially Impactful by equipping engineers with the right skills and the related jobs simultaneously. Through our unique approach, we envision creating a million jobs over the next 5 years. Bridgelabz’s association with YSB, along with our existing stakeholders, will be pivotal in the same.

Even during the pandemic period, when almost the whole world was in a lockdown situation, we helped both beginners and mid-career switchers to sharpen their skills to enhance their employability. Tech? ?jobs? ?are? ?not? ?restricted? ?to? ?only? ?software? ?engineers? ?and? ?developers.? ?Today,? we have ?talent? ?from? ?quasi-tech? ?backgrounds? ?showing? ?an? ?interest? ?in? ?tech? ?jobs? ?and? have  ?also? ?witnessed? ?many? ?joining? ?leading? ?tech? ?companies? ?too.? 

 We have also won the BW Techtor Award 2020 and secured 2nd position at Global Edtech Startup Awards 2019, India. We were selected by the Maharashtra state government as Top 100 Startups 2019 out of 1500 plus entries.

 Having said that, all this was not possible without by fellow founding team members and of course the entire lean team at BridgeLabz who works tirelessly to make this vision come alive! Cheers to all of you!

Narayan Mahadevan, Tech visionary and Founder BridgeLabz, an entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience is involved in Product Engineering and R&D. He is a hardcore product specialist with the ability to visualize and deliver Product Roadmaps, Technology, Architecture and Cloud Infrastructure. 

Vishal Choksi fellow founding member and Chief Operating Officer , has a range of experience in Strategic Planning, Project Management, Sales & Marketing, Software Development, Finance, Business Operations, Business Expansion and Corporate Development. In short he can do everything and at the same time! :-)

Puneet Dhawan, Founding Member and Chief Growth Officer, is a business leader with exposure to global Sales, Account Management, Consulting and Solutions across various verticals like BFSI, Travel, Hospitality, Education, Mobile Learning/E learning, Engineering, Media & Publishing. There is no problem he cannot solve!

Our passion to make a social impact and help the youth brought us together ! We aim to impact more than 1 million jobs by 2025. And the funding from YSB is sure to help us shift gear and reach our goal at a rapid pace!
