1GHz RISC-V Achieves 250,000 Coremark/W

Micro Magic achieved 250,000 Coremark/W with its 64bit RISC-V Corkmarking 2,500 consuming 10mW while running at 1GHz!

Our IP core is real.  The Data is real.  Data is collected off actual silicon running CoreMarks while we measure the power.  The power quoted for our core includes the core, the caches, and both static and dynamic power.  It does not include the I/O’s. 

In 1994 the founders of Micro Magic developed the worlds fastest SRAM.  The paper was first rejected by ISSCC because some of the reviewers thought it was impossible to go that fast.  It wasn’t. To achieve the impossible you just need a little magic.
