1) Warhol Foundation Fuels Art at Brown University with $80K Grant
The Andy Warhol Foundation has has awarded the David Winton Bell Gallery at Brown University a $80,000 two-year grant to support public programming and community engagement opportunities related to four upcoming exhibitions.
2) Rare Basquiat Masterpieces Hit the Auction Block in Florida
Florida’s Blackwell Auctions will present two signed, fresh-to-the-market Jean-Michel Basquiat paintings. Neither of the artworks have been seen publicly since their display at a 2002 contemporary art exhibition held at gallery and private consultancy firm IKON Ltd. The larger of the two works, a painting on illustration board titled Chop Suey, 1983 will open for bidding at $50,000. The smaller oilstick on paper work Untitled (Fig One) from 1982 will start at $35,000.
3) Skate and Pop Art Collide: Lichtenstein's Iconic Works on Deck
THE SKATEROOM has blended art and skate culture in their newest collection of skateboard artworks, showcasing the iconic pop art of Roy Lichtenstein. Works featured include; Girl in Mirror from 1964, the 1963 works The Drowning Girl and Varoom! and 1964's Happy Tears.
4) Warhol and Lichtenstein Set Sail: Exclusive Art Aboard EXPLORA I
Luxury lifestyle ocean travel brand Explora Journeys unveils a curated art collection on board EXPLORA I, featuring limited-edition prints, lithographs and original works by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. The exhibition complements the existing permanent art collection selected by the owner's family, showcasing renowned and emerging artists and master artisans throughout the ship until spring 2025.

5) Roy Lichtenstein's Legacy: Explore 5,500 Works in New Online Catalogue
The Roy Lichtenstein Foundation has announced the launch of the long-awaited, comprehensive online publication, Roy Lichtenstein: A Catalogue Raisonné. A massive scholarly undertaking comprising of more than 5,500 recognised works by Roy Lichtenstein in all media in public and private collections worldwide. The catalogue is freely available on the Foundation’s recently released catalogue website.
