When a classic muscle car is so well documented and original that it is offered at No Reserve at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, you know there is something special about it. This week, MS Classic Cars, a member of the Cars-On-Line Dealer Network has announced that it will be offering this Calypso Coral?1970 Boss 302 Mustang?at the Barrett-Jackson Auction, January 22-30, 2022.

MS Classic Cars tells us this '70 Boss Mustang has been highly awarded as a top quality show car. The prestigious awards include the Mustang Club of America Grand National Show “Gold” award in 2019, Shelby American Automobile Club Northeast Regional Meet “Sponsor’s Choice” award in 2021, Mustang Club of America Grand National Show “Gold” award in 2021 and Boss Nationals “First Place” award in 2021. It was verified by MCA Gold Card and SAAC Boss Judge Douglas Monroe. The verification on Ford Boss Exchange letterhead is signed and included in the ad photos (click the link to?review over 100 detailed photos.) As the original Ford Invoice and Deluxe Marti Report indicate, this vehicle was built and also released to the Garrett Motor Company located in Hendersonville, NC on April 21st, 1970.

This Boss 302 underwent a complete concours quality nut and bolt restoration in 2010 and has been improved on over the years for judging purposes. It only has 300 miles since completion as it is trailered most of the time. The totally rust-free exterior body is laser straight with excellent gaps throughout.?The car is powered by its original matching numbers Boss 302 V8 engine, rebuilt and excellent.?It has a 4-speed wide ratio manual transmission, 3.50 conventional rear axle and a shaker hood.
