The Outdoor advertising is one of the oldest types of advertising at all because it’s still working and attractive to the target audience. This is the reason why marketers prefer to advertise their business with out – of – home ads which follows to more and more creative forms of billboards, banners, etc.

The stationary billboards on the road are no longer in trend – according “Business insider” and their advertising column. The authors point out that the leading brands aim to advertise their business through interactive outdoor advertising not only because it’s something different and original, but also because it will make people really notice what’s in front of their eyes.

Here are some of the most impressive outdoor ads of 2015 according Business Insider. Some of them will take a part in the most prestigious festivals for advertising creation.

  1. Coca – Cola and its advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather created in April this year the first billboard which allows people to pour out cola directly from it and to enjoy the drink. The big ad was shown at a place near a concert in the USA and offered Coke Zero.
    2. You’re tired to see your city dirty and full of garbage? The company “Hong Kong Clean – Up” and its advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather based in Hong Kong are also against the polluted city environment. They’ve used DNA phenotype in order to expose people in Hong Kong who threw their garbage outside in the town. Their edification was showing their faces on billboards all across the city.
    3. The “J. Walter Thompson Rome” agency created a billboard after a research which cleared up that the best physical distance for a conversation between 2 people is 60cm. The digital billboard showed a man who reacted through step away, smile or a gift with free product sample for mouth hygiene according to the distance with the live person.
    4. The billboards of the “Ogilvy & Mather” agency encouraged people to overcome physical challenges through climbing and work out in the fitness gym. This was a really (inter)active advertising.
    5. The tourist organization of Chicago and the “Lapiz” agency jumped into direct action when a snow storm took over the city. The two companies showed a billboard offering the citizens a holiday in Mexico.
    6. Right after Coca – Cola showed its billboard with a draft coke Carlsberg and its advertising agency “Fold 7” put a billboard with draft beer in East London.
    7. The “Marvel” put dozens of mini billboards in April in Australia in order to advertise its premier movie “Ant-Man” this summer.
    8. The pet company of “Battersea Dogs” and “Cats Home” the “Ogilvy One” agency secretly put microchips in brochures given to the cross walkers in London. The brochures were connected to the big digital billboards all around showing a dog. The dog began to follow the people who had a brochure in their hands.
    9. Audi A7 Sportback h-tron” is an auto which doesn’t radiate nothing but water Therefore it’s harmless for the environment. The company and its advertising agency “Think” represented a billboard which consists only water steam. The brand new technology was shown in big cities and many neighborhoods. This was a real magic in the advertising branch.
    10. The “Uber’’ and the “Rethink” agency installed a billboard with a Breathalyzer in Toronto. The billboard indicated if the driver exceeded the permissible norm of alcohol while driving.
    11. This digital billboard used a technology to recognize faces in order to find out if cross walkers notice the illustration of a face of beaten woman. The campaign was organized to remain the problem of domestic violence and inaction of society.
    12. The citizens of St. Pauli in Hamburg are already tired of the drunk young people who urinate on buildings and public locations in the city after partying in the down town. In order to stop this ridiculous behavior some facades were covered with a special waterproof stuff so when someone is urinating the liquid rebounds and get back to him. The initiative attracted the global media attention.
    13. Even IKEA admits that some of the furniture they offer is really hard to fit up. This was perfectly shown by this billboard represented by the German agency “Thjnk”.
    14. This here is a billboard of the dining chain “Hungry Jack” in Australia. It was made of holographic materials in order to scare the birds who steal the French fries of the visitors. Furthermore the restaurant and its advertising agency “Clemenger BBDO” created special package of the same material for French fries and gave it to the clients on places with “big danger for bird attack”.
    15. The “Smart Car” manufacturer and its advertising agency “BBDO” in Dusseldorf created billboards with a real size “Smart” car on and put them at park places across the city in order to show the benefits of having the small car.
    16. Oreo and “FCB Inferno” in London decided to take advantage of the solar eclipse and put a digital advertisement on the roof of “Piccadilly Circus”. The advertisement showed in real time the moving of the earth around the sun.
    17. The fuel company of “Gull” in New Zealand decided to thank the animals for the bio fuel manufactured of their waste materials. The company created bio billboard which was made only from wheat and plant paint. The campaign was organized by the “Contagion” agency.
    18. This here was a campaign of the Scottish government in order to remain the citizens what exactly is happening if they drive drunk. The “Leith” agency in Scotland was the creator of the idea. It’s smart, isn’t it?
