Once scattered across the Allan Hancock College campus, the school’s arts departments are now united in the new Fine Arts Building. This creative hub for the student body is home to the second largest academic program on campus, designed to compactly fit within a preapproved footprint.

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community is getting a new place of recovery. Located in Scottsdale, AZ, this ground-up addiction recovery facility is being designed around their “Journey to Recovery” program. A modular plan clusters the spaces around a central courtyard, with micro-climates supporting these transitions through the building form, related shading structures, and proposed use of native landscaping.
