170 Days in Nanking - The Diaries of John Rabe
Over the last 10 weeks I had the privilege of helping this world premiere production come to life at the Jiangsu Center for the Performing Arts. It was one of the biggest challenges of my career, but thanks to a wonderful team of professionals and inspiring young people, I have actually managed to make this into a good looking and well running show.
The scene shop only had 18 days to build the scenery and props, the costume shop made all of the costumes within one month and the Jiangsu Grand Theater learned how to create and produce an opera on the fly while the new theater was still being commissioned. Crazy. Man, it was rough and tough, but well worth the effort and energy we have all invested. Now, It’s time to rest and indulge in Christmas goodies. Thanks for the opportunity! Thanks @Joanna Lee.
Let’s see what’s next.
