Second Chance on life 17 Years Ago...

I wanted to take a few minutes to reflect back on 17 years ago. There's not a day that goes by I don't think about August 6, 2000 and how it has forever changed my life. Lori and I have sure seen a lot and have made the best of the hand we have been dealt. I made many promises to the Man upstairs at that time asking if he would give me a second chance on life with Lori, and he sure delivered on his end to me. He gave me that second chance to live my life with the woman I love so much. I won't bore you with all the promises I made at that time, but I can assure you am doing my part to live up to those promises.

I often think of all the individuals that would give anything for a second chance with their loved one. My heart ?? goes out to all of you that asked for that second chance and didn’t get that wish. We won't ever understand why some of us go sooner than others. I sure understand how special it is to have been given this second chance and have never, ever taken it for granted. I would love nothing more for everyone to have a second chance or just a little more time to say goodbye.

So please take a minute and think of all those loved ones that left us to soon and say a prayer for their family members.

As we all know nothing is forever and nothing is guaranteed. Every day is a wonderful gift that we get to spend here together and Lori and I sure plan on making the best of it each and every day! Please give back with your hearts and live life to the fullest each day. I want to send a special thanks to so many of my colleagues for their support over the years. Especially to all of you who have helped us with giving back to our communities (DARTS). Thanks you again from the bottom our hearts!
