What a month so far...
If it’s not soaring temperatures or Perseid meteor showers (did anyone see them?), it’s the thunder and lightning storms.
With the heatwave over and schools preparing to reopen for the new term, you might be starting to get that gloomy ‘summer is over’ feeling , or if a business owner - excited for people returning back to the office, or parents looking forward to being relieved of the hourly snack requests!
BUT with a new season comes new opportunities - which is why we’ve rounded up this week’s hottest trends so you can seize your chance of your Tiktok going viral!
This is an exciting one that has been blowing up a number of small creators recently.?
Use it to respond to something bizarre you witnessed or maybe even to document something which has happened within your business. Maybe you launched a new product? Maybe there was some office drama when the milk was left out of the fridge again???
2. ‘Oh no, it’s Melanie…’
Creators are using this sound to share their disappointment at… well, anything - maybe someone you like hit you with a rather questionable opinion, or a client ruined the Instagram feed you had perfectly curated for them by posting something without alerting you! This is another great sound in the sense that it has no niche or trend attached to it, meaning you can apply it to almost anything - business or personal.
3. Original sound - cazsu_ scream -

Ever see something which annoys you so much, you struggle to formulate a sentence and resort to incoherent sounds? We’ve all been there.
Users are putting this sound over things they’ve stumbled across which have rubbed them the wrong way. It doesn’t have to be limited to this, however - you can also use it for POVs!
4. Original sound - joegunn ‘today drained me’
Creators are using this audio plus onscreen text to express how completing a generally mundane task drained them.?

For example: ‘social media managers after a long day of scrolling through memes’. ??
5. ‘I’m your biggest fan…’
Lip sync to this live performance of Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi to declare your devotion to the creator of something you love. Whilst the onscreen text reads something like ‘when you meet the creator of (x)’,? film yourself reaching and flailing to the side of the camera as if you’re trying to grab the person just out of shot. This one has some POV potential too, for example: ‘when the client pays on time’!
6. ‘I don’t know what’s going on’

Confused by something going on in the office? Shocked at a new piece of industry news? Another celebrity acting up in the press? Use this sound plus onscreen text to convey your confusion.
7. Blow up
At Noisy Thistle, we know from experience that it’s always the videos you least expect to blow up which do.?? That transition trend you put hours of work into? 400 views. The offhand, 10-second video you recorded whilst lying in bed with unwashed hair? 1 million views. Congratulations!
Now, this trend sees users documenting their experiences of blowing up.
The good thing about this one is that it’s quick and easy, meaning you don’t have to worry about spending hours on one video only for it to flop! ??
