The end of 2024 is in sight, and what a fantastic year it has been! Not only because of our brilliant clients (whom we love), but also because it’s been a year of supporting the widest range of event projects yet.

Here are 15 unusual ways our dedicated events language agency has helped events and event businesses this year.

Pre-Event Operations and Marketing Support

  • An Italian speaker used to contact the local authorities to enquire about permission for a live activation location on behalf of an event agency.
  • TranslateAble became an integral part of an event organiser’s marketing team, supporting a newly launched geo-adapted event to take place in Germany where they hadn’t been able to secure suitable marketing resources in the languages needed for their target audience. TranslateAble assisted in translating all event marketing copy.
  • Working with conference event teams to translate speaker agreements and contracts into German and French for geo-cloned trade shows launching in new locations.
  • Event organisers aimed to increase the volume of attendee feedback from their international audiences. To achieve higher response rates, they partnered with TranslateAble to translate post-event questionnaires into Italian, Turkish, and German.

Building Connections Between Internal Teams

  • Global cosmetics brand Charlotte Tilbury brought their European teams together for an annual internal sales event. As not everyone spoke English, TranslateAble’s interpreters were on-hand during the conference sessions, product demonstrations and awards ceremony into German, French, Spanish and Italian.
  • Many corporate event clients request TranslateAble to regularly transcribe AGMs which are then circulated to all employees. This helps to create greater employee engagement post-event across the organisation.


Making Attendees & Guests Feel Welcome

  • It’s not just seminar content translation that can make attendees feel welcome. TranslateAble has translated onsite event signage from English to Italian.
  • One expo organiser went one-step further and as part of an initiative to make their events more welcoming to an international audience, TranslateAble recorded the show opening message in multiple languages to be played over the tannoy.? Messages were recorded in Swedish, Japanese, French, Arabic, Spanish, Hindi and Indonesian.
  • Trusted by a global brand to provide interpreters in Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese and Korean to accompany VIPs on guided trips during a UK festival.
  • TranslateAble provided support for Non-English speakers by offering session recordings for an event agency. A Turkish interpreter facilitated communication between the technical team and the speaker.

  • In addition to supporting events, TranslateAble can make a difference in the office too. Our team has translated key policy documents for CloserStill Media’s offices globally.
  • We also partnered with a global events business's HR department to translate training materials for their international teams.


Venue Support

  • ExCeL London engaged TranslateAble to provide onsite language professionals who speak Hungarian, Polish and Serbian to support its traffic team during one of its largest trade show build and breakdown operations WTM London.


Something different…
