1.5 MILLION in September! ??

1.5 MILLION in September! ??

Thanks to you, we just had two of our most watched campaigns yet!

September was a super busy month for us.

Not only did we close out the film on neurodivergent sibling bonds with a bang, we managed to make some (decently big) noise with our Paralympics special feature!

But first - the Rakhi film. This wasn’t the first time we’ve crossed a million+ views on a campaign, but it’s always a nice feeling when anything crosses the million mark, right?!

So across roughly 10+ assets, we netted a whopping 1.2 MILLION in views!

Not to mention we got some really heartfelt comments from around the world that just made our month!

PS: If you missed our Rakhi special film on sibling bonds, it’s never too late to watch something awesome! Stream it above!

Next - the Paralympics.

While our players in blue did us super proud by winning 29 medals (srsly, it was something else this time!), we were so happy to bring real-time updates, news and info about the Paralympics to our global audience.

So across 50+ assets (yes, we really did go all out with this one!) on Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, we netted 500K+ views on the videos alone!

And, of course, our co-founder Aditi’s take on the Paralympics with her “India at Paralympics” and “Olympic Fan v/s Paralympic Fan” reels - as always - got SO much love and were shared massively across socials!

Speaking of, Aditi was invited as Chief Guest & Speaker at the ‘Neurodiversity Representation in Cinema’ event at Sophia College, Mumbai last week.

With young people getting more involved and taking a keen interest in inclusion and representation (yay!), we're setting out do these workshops and sessions in schools and colleges WAY more often.

Drop us an email if you‘d like to know more about this.

Coming up ??

Okay, so we have A LOT happening in October ’24, and we’re SO excited about it all.

  • Our next film is a commentary on the culture of corporal punishment so prevalent in India. We’re speaking to experts, parents, educators, self-advocates and bringing you these stories in collaboration with the good folx at Ummeed Child Development Center . Releases November, 2024 in the lead up to Children’s Day.
  • Next - we’re venturing on the first schedule of what promises to be a powerful film at the intersection of climate and disability. This one’s an international documentary project, and takes us to Delhi every month. We’ll keep you posted!

  • We’re also producing a podcast with an upcoming non-profit on a campaign addressing mental health in the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Finally, our co-founder Aditi Gangrade is giving a talk at a Big 4 later this month on her lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent entrepreneur! She will be joining them on their neurodiversity journey to share insights on building a global community and social impact filmmaking. A heartfelt shoutout to the folx at v-shesh for being the best partners!

And to top it all - our NEW podcast, The Jeet Code (how’s that for a name!) drops October 10, which is Mental Health Day!

Episode 1 features none other than Ishaa Vinod Chopra , author of the new book ‘Finding Order in Disorder’ and daughter of renowned filmmakers Shabnam Sukhdev and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. ?

Phew.

Send us love ??
