The 10th of October is World Mental Health day ????. So, we asked our team members how they sustain their mental well-being and are excited to share 15 wonderful tips - check them out, try something, and add to the list if you have something.
1. A morning hour just for myself.
The practice of spending one hour after awakening without gadgets and the Internet makes me feel more balanced during the day. I spend this time on my own keeping this delightful time away from the everyday buzz. It’s even more recharging if you have a chance to take a walk in the fresh air. This easy trick helps to think more rationally and reduces the feeling of a constant fierce hassle.

2. Regular sports activities.
Let it be trite, but regular physical training is vital for mental health and productivity. It doesn’t matter what you do until it gives your brain time for rest while letting your body work. So, if you adopt such a habit in the long run you will find yourself more healthy, enthusiastic, and charged for new achievements.

3. Meet new people.
As for me, I find a great source of inspiration in people. That’s why I even made it a habit every two weeks or so to meet new people. I cherish the moments of sharing ideas, business and life experiences with spirited and bestowing people. Usually, after such meetings, I feel extremely energized, enthusiastic, and full of insights.

4. Start every day with pleasure.
Every day I allocate time for rituals that bring pleasure and help to reboot. For example, one of the important ones for me is to start the morning without the hassle and always cook a delicious and healthy breakfast - this is how I set myself up for a productive day.

5. Limit information flow.
It’s important not to overload yourself with any incoming information, whether it's success stories on Instagram or a news feed. For instance, I devote limited periods of time to reading the news or surfing social networks and arrange an informational “detox” day at least once a week.

6. Dance.
In my opinion, dancing is one of the most effective and comprehensive ways to maintain mental and physical shape. Not only it helps to remove negativity through the body and distract from heavy thoughts, but also to maintain health and physical strength.?

7. Train your emotional intellect.
Getting to know yourself through independent work or with a psychologist is beneficial in many ways. You learn to see the origins of your emotions and feelings, manage them, and live them through while remaining in an adult position.

8. Family time.
Almost every Saturday we go on a date with my wife, and on Sundays, we head to the beach. We have established a clear division: weekdays are for work, and weekends are family days. It helps the mind to be focused on the most essential things during each period and not to get exhausted.

9. Nail standing.
Nail standing has become popular within several years. They say it stimulates 7,000 nerve endings on the bottom of your feet freeing up trapped energy, increasing blood flow, and filling your whole body with energy. For me, it really works.

10. Try floating.
There is a fancy modern therapy of sensory deprivation - floating. Staying in conditions isolated from the environment in a bathroom with a high salt content for around one hour helps relieve muscles, mental tension, and stress.?

11. Separate places for work and personal.
These days it became extremely important due to the remote work conditions. For example, making sure you have different rooms for living and for work, not to work from bed, etc. Thus, subconsciously you will focus more effectively on the most important things.

Recently, I got acquainted with the great effectiveness of art therapy in keeping up my mental well-being. Since then I’ve been practicing Neurographic art to release emotions.?

14. Set clear plans.
My mental health state also depends on the effectiveness of scheduling. If I don’t have a clear plan in my mind, I feel frustrated. Therefore, I set goals for the future including a step-by-step plan for how to achieve them. This way, it becomes easier for me to move forward and I keep my head ?clear?.

15. Meet with friends.
People overall but most importantly my friends bring me great motivation and the brightest emotions. So, I think for maintaining your moral well-being it is vital to regularly spend time together with the people you feel the most comfortable with. Playing board games, common sports activities and team games, or simple gatherings will definitely cheer you up.
