I think feeling lonely is a very shared and normal part of the human experience, no matter whether you are an introvert or an extrovert. That has been true more than ever during the last two years of the pandemic. It’s so easy to feel isolated and alone, and that will still be a challenge going forward as we become more virtual. Being with others is hard wired?into us because if our distant ancestors were alone they would die. The?author of this article opens up about her struggles with loneliness and how she has worked to overcome them. What “Presence” Feels Like — Julie Morgenstern

Being fully present is an idea that is?talked about a lot today given how many distractions we have, but do we really even know how to tell if we are being fully present? Even if you’re not on your phone it doesn’t mean you’re really paying attention. Your mind can still be elsewhere, in the past or future.
