14 Year Old AJ Carr Making a Difference
I am sending out this note in the hope that you will consider attending AJ Carr's fundraiser or donate to help him continue the work he is doing in bringing our communities together and in helping him find mentors for young folks throughout our region. AJ, 14, has chosen to spend his free time advocating and helping young folks be a productive part of our community. That said you’re invited to help shape tomorrow’s leaders at the 1st Annual Building Bosses Fundraiser Dinner on Sunday, June 11 from 4-6 p.m. at the Cherokee Country Club. Click here to register.
Join AJ Carr and guest performer Tony Hightower—an accomplished jazz singer and actor—for the dinner, and a reception afterward celebrating the impact Building Bosses has already had on our community.
AJ started Building Bosses to teach area youth to actively serve their communities. The program pairs young people with successful, local business owners who provide guidance and ongoing mentorship. Having already received three letters of commendation from the White House, AJ is actively involved with youth programs. He is also a burgeoning actor with television roles on NBC, PBS and Showtime.
All proceeds will go to Building Bosses programs and services. If you’re unable to attend, please consider donating.
Building Bosses (Build Own Serve Succeed) is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible. With your help, we can make a real investment in our community’s future.
Thank you for considering. We all need to work together to make sure ALL of our young people can be successful. After all, it is in our best interest. They will be taking care of us as we progress along our life journey.
Thank you
