What an appropriate name for a beautiful apple.? Summerlove apples have a tart taste initially, much like a Granny Smith, but then have a sweet aftertaste similar to a Pink Lady.? The new season of these delicious apples have arrived this week but beware they only have a very short season of approximately 3-4 weeks...... yes weeks.? These apples have a wonderful crisp, crunch with a white flesh and shiny red skin which is aesthetically pleasing.? If you would like to tantalise your taste buds with Summerlove, be sure to look out for these beauties at your local fruit and veg store but be quick as they won’t be around for long!

CHERRIES

Last chance for SA grown cherries this week.? They have all been picked so get them while they last! These incredible, local cherries are not only delicious but also healthy and versatile.
