13 Inspiring Ideas from the 2025 Exhibit Columbus Design Presentations
Landmark Columbus Foundation
We care for, celebrate, and advance the cultural heritage of Columbus, Indiana and like-minded communities.
We're looking ahead to the 2025 Exhibition!
Great art and design is not just about aesthetics—what something looks like—it’s about creating places where people and ideas come together in powerful ways. This belief is at the heart of our work, and it drives us to develop meaningful public-private partnerships (PPPs) that help shape the future of our community and other places. People notice when we do this well?because we’re modeling a new way to think about how art and design can be key drivers to making places better for everyone.
The 2025 Exhibit Columbus Exhibition, Yes And, directly reflects this approach. It embodies the power of collaboration between designers, institutions, businesses, and civic leaders to reimagine what’s possible while affirming what’s been done in the past.
The 13 installations recently revealed at the 2025 Design Presentations are not just temporary artworks but bold experiments in community engagement. They show how we can work together to transform underutilized spaces, historic sites, and everyday public places into extraordinary and thoughtful experiences. Please take some time to learn about each concept?below, and if you have feedback, send it to me, and I’ll ensure it gets to our seven curators.
The partnerships created to realize these projects didn't?happen by accident. They are built through strategic planning, shared goals, and a commitment to investing in place. Everyone here at LCF is focused on strengthening these collaborations, whether with our city leaders working to make Columbus a model for innovative urban spaces, individuals who care deeply about an aspect of our work, or with businesses, foundations, and funders that believe in the power of art and architecture to inspire and connect communities.?
So when we say?Yes And, we embrace the idea that our city’s greatest strength lies in bringing people together to build something more significant than the sum of its parts. We are stronger together.
I invite you to join us in this effort, whether by attending our upcoming events, supporting our work, or simply engaging in the conversation about the role of design in shaping our shared future.
See you around!
