#12weekchallenge WEEK 3

#12weekchallenge WEEK 3

We are already approaching week 3 of our #12weekchallenge.

We had already two very inspiring meetings, one week and two weeks ago.

If you still want to join the #12weekchallenge and take part in our group coaching meetings, please register here: https://mailchi.mp/tec-one/12week2024

And now let's dive into the next challenge on our path to grow our businesses and reach more clients.

Let's find our heroes

One of the most important topics in defining a freelance or solopreneur's business is to niche down.

If you niche down you will grow your business.

It sounds paradoxical - but as a solopreneur, you cannot serve too many people at the same time.

So it is a prerequisite to focus.

As we have done with our messaging, we also need to focus on our target audience.

Start with your message and your vision & mission - statement

In the past 2 weeks, we worked out our one-liner and our vision- and mission - statement for our freelance businesses.

Please revisit them and then start working on your so-called buyer persona

What is a persona?

A persona is like a fictional character that represents your ideal client or customer.

It helps you understand their needs and preferences.

Using a persona (some call it a buyer-persona) allows you to tailor your services to better meet their expectations as a freelancer.

And again start to focus. Don't serve everybody.

Serve a small niche.

Use an IKIGAI (please google, if you don't know what a IKIGAI is).

Or use the same 5 questions, that we used to find the draft for our main message in week 1: Click here to re-visit it.

Brainstorm and Research

Fill in a template for a buyer persona. You will find plenty of templates on the web.

(you can also receive a link for downloading my own template if you register here)

Based on this first brainstorming discuss the results with your colleagues, friends, or in the TEC ONE Community.

Reach out

As soon as you have finished your buyer persona, make connections.

Search for prospects and contacts that are a part of your target audience.

Chat with them on LinkedIn or E-Mail/WhatsApp.

Make an appointment for a video call.

And talk with them about your business idea and your offer.

You will find many valuable new ideas and suggestions for improving your product or service.

Let's discuss

As soon as you have finished your buyer persona template, go to the next step:

1) discuss the results with your colleagues or friends

2) join the TEC ONE community (please DM me: Werner Korb )

3) join the #12weekchallenge. It is still possible to join in week 3. We can re-visit the topics of weeks 1 + 2 in a 1:1 coaching.
