Building Your Social Proof
Hey there, fellow solopreneurs! ??
Welcome to Week 11 of our #12weekchallenge! This time we want to speak about the power of social proof.
It is really crucial in our entrepreneurial journey. It's not just a piece of the puzzle; it's like a compass that guides potential clients to trust us. Or: imagine social proof as a bridge connecting your work to the trust of your audience.
I know first-hand how powerful social proof can be. With over 20 client and peer recommendations on my LinkedIn profile, I've experienced how these testimonials build credibility and trust with potential clients.
The #12weekchallenge Community
In our #12weekchallenge community, we actively work on building social proof together. We get to know each other through weekly challenges, collaborate on projects, and then share honest testimonials about our working experiences.
It's an amazing support system full of warm connections and accountability partners to help you stay on track.
Starting from scratch can feel like a solo hike up a mountain. But in our community, you've got a whole team supporting and cheering you on, every step of the way.
Your Weekly Social Proof Plan
So this week, let's keep strengthening our social proof compasses step-by-step:
Monday (Today): Reflect on 3-5 achievements you're most proud of. Write them down.
Tuesday: Highlight your top skills on LinkedIn, and ask former clients, colleagues or peers to endorse you for those specific skills. Social proof comes from reinforcing your expertise through skill endorsements.
Wednesday: Identify 3-5 peers you admire. Offer to write recommendations for them.
Thursday: Create a simple pitch deck with your services and notable achievements. Then reach out to former clients or peers that you previously wrote testimonials for, and ask if they'd be willing to provide one for you as well. This mutual exchange reinforces the social proof cycle.

Friday: Join 2-3 more online communities for your niche and start engaging by adding value.
Saturday: Follow 2-3 influencers in your industry. Share their content and engage. Continue this work and be consistent.
Sunday: Spend quality time with family and friends, as their support is priceless social proof of your character. Consider doing a fun activity you all enjoy, like hiking, bowling, or picnicking.
