How to start into the New Year? How to re-start and make maximum growth as a FREELANCER?

These are questions, that many freelancers and solopreneurs ask themselves. Many of you might have started in 2023 - like me (TEC ONE is completely NEW) - a new project or new enterprise.

Some of you might feel like "stuck in a hamster wheel" and feel like not growing for far too long.

Whatever challenge you face.

I would suggest you make a re-start, re-orientation, or re-focus from time to time.

The start of the New Year is a good opportunity to do that.

Today is the 1st day of the year.

Not so many would be waiting for your attention or offer or sales pitch today ????.

So START TODAY to re-start/re-focus.

Make a plan

So take the chance and make a new plan.

Sit down, take a piece of paper and a pen.

Then start answering some of these questions:

• What went good in 2023?
• What was not successful in 2023 and needs to be changed?
• Which clients were easy to achieve?
• Which are the best-paying clients, without a lot of negotiation work?
• What work do I like best?
• What is my main purpose?
• What content, experience, and skill can I give?
• What is necessary to change?
• What is the next challenge? Where shall I step out of my comfort zone?

And so on.

Start making numbers

And from now on, start making statistics.

One of my main learnings from 2023: My perceived results often do not match the objective data.

So one of my main routines: Every Friday afternoon, I sit down, and count my numbers:

• How many new connections did I make the previous week?
• How many first calls (video meetings) did I make?
• How many follow-up meetings?
• How many offers or quotes did I send?
• How many sales?
• How many new followers have I received on LinkedIn?
• How many subscriptions for my newsletter (Don't forget to subscribe to this ??)?
• How many subscriptions for my YouTube Podcast?

Start working in a team

Do that kind of re-orientation and re-focus work ONLY in teams and communities.

Don't make the next challenge alone!

You will get stuck again.
