The team at SMEC shared how they harnessed the power of 12d to deliver Australia's largest road project, the North East Link . Michael Bozikis, Allan Walker, and Josh Allison took us through their innovative design process, focusing on how 12d facilitated the design brief while meeting all Digital Engineering and Modelling requirements. They also delved into the innovations and processes developed specifically for this project and the successful outcomes they enabled.


12d Synergy 6 Preview

Presented by Richard Stoliar , James Irwin and Nolan McGuire

Richard Stoliar gave us a sneak peek into what's coming in 12d Synergy Version 6, including Forms, a new BIM Model Viewer, Issue Tracking, Power BI Integration, and Microstation and Open Roads support. James Irwin showcased how the new Forms feature can streamline data collection, simplify workflows, and integrate seamlessly with your 12d Synergy ecosystem. Nolan McGuire introduced us to the game-changing new Maps tool, set to revolutionise the way surveyors visualise and analyse data.

This ambitious initiative aims to unlock Tasmania's renewable energy potential by optimising hydropower assets and developing new pumped hydro storage infrastructure. Entura's impeccable execution of ISO 19650 and data management principles is setting a new standard in project execution and information management.


How a Modern Construction Business Uses 12d Model on Major Projects

12d to Untangle Chaotic NZ Eastern Busway Utilities

Presented by Angelina Tan , Daniel De Almeida and David Cavu

The rockstar team from AECOM/Jacobs showcased how the Eastern Busway Alliance effectively leveraged 12d to manage complex utility challenges. By proactively managing risks, collaborating seamlessly, and adapting to unforeseen obstacles, the Alliance successfully avoided multi-million dollar cost overruns and prevented several months of project delays.
