Everyone who has ever associated with 3D, dreamed of being able to easily transfer things from life to models in your favorite program. Until a certain moment, these were only dreams. Now the possibilities of 3D graphics have moved far enough. But what to say, what are motion capture , 3D TVs , 3D cinemas and stuff. A separate topic is 3D scanners and 3D printers . Which gradually enter the industry of three-dimensional graphics more and more, and the further, the faster. Maybe printers will be available to everyone after a while, and every schoolboy, engineer, student, can print everything on this 3D printer.

But the 3D scanner? Everything is much more complicated here. Get a three-dimensional model is much more difficult than printing it. Perhaps in the future it will be available, but we have a task to do it right now. We want to easily transfer models from life into the window of the program Maya , 3ds Max , Houdini , Zbrush , Blender or others. One of the possible options will be considered now.

Our beloved company Autodesk has developed a unique system, which has the same name 123D Catch . It is based on celestial technologies and makes it possible to easily build a 3D model for a set of captured photographs.

Now take a picture of our object. Basic rules when shooting an object:

As soon as the program processes all images, a scene window will appear in the program in which you can watch the model with the camera circuits from the positions from which the model was photographed. But the most important thing is that you can export the scene in the formats .obj, .dwg, .fbx, .ipm, .las, .rzi.
